The RLI MAG Gunner
In partnership with the Rhodesian Light Infantry Regimental Association, 30 Degrees South UK is delighted to announce the release of its all new 'RLI MAG Gunner' figurine. Limited to just 50 pieces worldwide and in commemoration of the RLI's 50th Anniversary, this artwork features a MAG Gunner readied to deploy on a Fireforce Operation. Standing 270mm tall and attired in web equipment and jump order, research work saw many hours spent studying the collection in the RLI Museum, Bedford - in particular the one piece jump overalls. 'Much time was spent getting the pockets on the coveralls right' commented Steve Crump; 'the resultant piece is very pleasing and shows a Troopie waiting by the airstrip, contemplating his next jump into action with a MAG strapped securely to his side. Once again the team at Peter Hicks Associates have excelled themselves'.
Priced just £125.00 + P&P, this unique collectors item is now ready for purchase with Figure No. 1 being presented to the RLI Association, at the RLI 50th Anniversary Weekend, on the 24th/25th September in Bedford. A percentage of sales from each figure will be donated to the RLI Association.

'The Selous Scouts'
We're delighted to release our long awaited Selous Scouts commission. Sculptured by the team at Peter Hicks Associates and in partnership with veterans Jerry Strong and Jimmy Ley, the figurine depicts a member of a tracking team, attired in terrorist camouflage and armed with an AK 47 assault rifle, analysing a terrorist spoor.
Limited to just 30 pieces worldwide, No. 1 of this this unique and highly collectable artwork has been donated to the Selous Scouts Association, in recognition of their support and interest with the commission.
30 Degrees South UK is delighted to announce the fifth, final, limited edition figure release for 2011. 'The SAS Trooper' is an all new work sculpted by the team at Peter Hicks Associates and released in partnership with C Squadron, Rhodesian SAS Association.
Mounted on a wooden base , adorned with the Rhodesian SAS winged dagger and standing 270mm tall, this figure has seen extensive consultation with a number of Rhodesian SAS veterans including Pat Viljoen, Peter McAleese and Paul French. Attired in 'external' greens and armed with an RPD weapon, the figure will reflect the fighting prowess and integrity of the Rhodesian SAS Trooper.
Just 40 numbered pieces are being released, worldwide, with an accompanying certificate of provenence. The figure is to be released in September, priced GB£125.00, with a percentage of each figure sold being donated to the C Squadron, Rhodesian SAS Association. In partnership with the Rhodesian Light Infantry Regimental Association, 30 Degrees South UK is to release an all new 'RLI MAG Gunner' figurine. Limited to just 50 pieces worldwide and in commemoration of the RLI's 50th Anniversary, this figure will feature a MAG Gunner readied to deploy on a Fireforce Operation. 'Building upon the success of our RLI Troopie figurine, this numbered artwork will stand 270mm tall and will feature an RLI MAG Gunner attired in a one piece pilot's coverall' said Steve Crump. 'Equipped with web equipment and in full jump order, he will be posed as waiting on the airfield tarmac, contemplating his next jump into action with his section MAG strapped securely to his side'.
Sculpted by the team at Peter Hicks Associates and cast in bronze resin, the 'RLI MAG Gunner' will boast the RLI Regimental crest and the 50th Anniversay cipher on the base.

The Second in our Series of Figurine Releases for 2011 – The 32 Battalion ‘Terrible One’
With the express and gracious permission of Colonel Jan Breytenbach, this release will see a limited edition, worldwide, of just 30 numbered pieces.
32 Battalion needs little introduction; an elite counter-insurgency force that was forged in secrecy. It fought with immense daring and became recognised as one of the most formidable units of the South African Defence Force.
Our commemorative figure will be prepared in great detail with veterans of the Battalion, working in close partnership with 30 Degrees South UK and the team at Peter Hicks Associates. A percentage of each figure sold will be donated to the SOS Pomfret Appeal.

Commissioned by 30 Degrees South UK to celebrate the unveiling of the Rhodesian Light Infantry Troopie (RLI) at Hatfield House, this limited edition of just 60 pieces is a must have! Standing 260mm tall on a round wooden base, the bronze resin figure depicts an RLI Troopie soldier awaiting his next Fireforce callout........
This is a stunning figure and one that has been produced in partnership with the RLI Association (UK Branch). Sculptors at Peter Hicks Associates have pored over the original Troopie memorial to ensure they get the pose, weapon and equipment detail right. With the RLI cap badge on the base and a numbered commemorative certificate signed by Martin Hudson, Chair of the RLI Association (UK Branch), and Steve Crump, 30 Degrees South UK, this commission is essential for those interested in the RLI and its achievements.
